Albi Florentin Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Albi Florentin, you immediately get the sense that this four-star boutique hotel understands its neighborhood perfectly. It’s tucked into the heart of Florentin — Tel Aviv’s grittiest-turned-coolest district — and honestly, the contrast between the polished hotel entrance and the street art-covered walls around it is pretty striking. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, which I actually appreciate in a city where some places can feel a bit over-the-top.
The Florentin Advantage
Here’s what most people don’t realize about staying in Florentin — you’re getting the real Tel Aviv experience without the tourist bubble. This area was basically the city’s industrial wasteland until artists and young locals started moving in about a decade ago. Now it’s this incredible mix of vintage shops, hole-in-the-wall eateries, and some of the best nightlife in the city. The hotel sits right on HaRav Yizkhak Yedidya Frenkel street, and I mean, you can walk to the trendy Levinsky Market in about eight minutes, or catch the light rail to anywhere else you need to go.
Your Room and Comfort
The room design hits that sweet spot between modern and warm — think clean lines but with enough character that you don’t feel like you’re sleeping in a showroom. What I really liked was how they’ve managed to soundproof things pretty well, because Florentin can get lively at night (in the best way). The beds are genuinely comfortable, and there’s this attention to detail in the lighting that makes the space feel much larger than it actually is. You know what’s nice? They’ve got proper blackout curtains, which is something you don’t always find in boutique places.
Food and Local Flavors
While the hotel doesn’t have a full restaurant, they’ve partnered with some fantastic local spots for breakfast and dining recommendations. Actually, this works out better than you’d think — the staff really knows their stuff about where to eat in the neighborhood. There’s this little sabich place two blocks away that they recommended, and honestly, it was some of the best street food I had during my entire stay in Israel. The hotel keeps things simple with coffee and light bites in the morning, but given how incredible the local food scene is, you’ll want to explore anyway.
Why Guests Love It
The location rating speaks for itself — couples especially seem to get it, probably because Florentin has this romantic, slightly bohemian vibe that’s hard to find in more touristy areas. You’re close enough to walk to Rothschild Boulevard or the beach when you want the classic Tel Aviv experience, but you get to come home to something that feels more authentic. The staff genuinely cares about making sure you experience the neighborhood properly, not just the hotel. There’s also decent parking nearby, which — trust me — is not something to take lightly in this city.
Tel Aviv’s hotels showcase design lofts, curated vinyl lounges, and concierge-led crawls through emerging galleries.

Very nice, very clean, cute hotel, with stylish renovation, delicious coffee and fresh cold water outside the room. There are no bathrobes in the room, and there is a small bath-pool on the roof of the hotel, so if you want to go there, it is better to take a bathrobe with you. We took a room with a balcony, but it was too hot outside and the view opened onto the windows and roofs, the balcony is right under the air conditioners, so in our case, it turned out that we took a room with a balcony in vain, we did not use it at all. There is a stove and dishes in the room, if you want, you can cook something yourself. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. The breakfast is delicious and beautiful. It was not very clear what time you can have breakfast. The voucher says one time, on the phone they told us another. Overall, the impression is very good.
