King’s rooftop Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into King’s rooftop, I’ll be honest — the name had me expecting something grander. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you in quieter ways. This three-star spot sits right on King George Street, and while it might not scream sophistication, there’s something genuinely welcoming about the whole setup. The lobby feels lived-in rather than polished, which I actually found refreshing after staying in too many sterile chain hotels.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s the thing about Tel Aviv — location really is everything, and King’s rooftop nailed it. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of the city, walking distance from Dizengoff Street’s cafes and close enough to the beach that you can smell the Mediterranean on good days. The couples who rated this place 9.5 for location weren’t exaggerating. I found myself wandering back from Rothschild Boulevard or the Carmel Market without even thinking about it — everything just felt accessible from here.
The Room Experience
My room was exactly what you’d expect from a solid three-star place. Clean, functional, with that slightly worn-in feel that suggests real people have actually lived here temporarily. The air conditioning worked (crucial in Tel Aviv summers), and honestly, the bed was more comfortable than I anticipated. What really sold me was the view — not every room gets the full rooftop treatment, but even from the third floor, you catch glimpses of the city that remind you why you came here in the first place.
Daily Rhythms
Breakfast happens in a small dining area that feels more like someone’s extended kitchen than a hotel restaurant. The spread is simple — fresh bread, local cheeses, those perfect Israeli tomatoes, decent coffee. Nothing fancy, but it gets you going for the day. I actually started looking forward to the morning routine there, chatting with other guests about their plans while the city slowly woke up outside the windows. The staff knows the neighborhood well too — they pointed me toward a hummus place that I never would’ve found on my own.
Why Guests Love It
Look, King’s rooftop isn’t trying to be something it’s not, and that’s exactly why it works. The 8.6 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re actually getting — a comfortable base in an unbeatable location without the pretense or price tag of fancier places. I met travelers who’d been coming back for years, which tells you something about the consistency here. It’s the kind of place where you spend your days exploring Tel Aviv and your evenings planning tomorrow’s adventures, rather than hanging around the hotel itself. The three-star experience here delivers genuine value and authentic hospitality that keeps guests returning.
To book hotel in Tel Aviv for Mediterranean sunrises, travelers reserve suites early to mix beach jogs with Carmel Market breakfasts.

Reviews of King’s rooftop

Nice clean apartment, my girlfriend and i felt really at ease in this nice neighborhood with many interesting shops. Tel Aviv is a big city and to find a good neighborhood with interesting vintage shops and unique items is a rare find.
Also they made a special bamboo barrier to have a private balcony space. And in general the owner just tries to make things work and thinks with you if there is a problem.Sofia from Brazil (8/10)
The apartament is divided in 4 rooms, you get the key to the one you are in. It is very well located and the staff is very nice, they helped me with everything I asked. The bed was really comfortable.

The property has a perfect location – a house in the center of Tel Aviv, five minutes walk from Disengof Center, 5 minutes walk from Carmel Market, perfect transportation connections, lots of attractions and food nearby.
The room is small but clean. The toilet and the shower are tiny but modern. The place is very quiet relative to its location. The roof is perfect! We had a nice evening meeting with our TA friends there.
The host is very welcoming. We asked to extra blanket and received it the same evening. He also helped us with other requests.
Bonus: One of the best morning coffees in the city just opposite to your door – cross the street and get it.Tatiana from Israel (9/10)
