Meir Dizengoff Residence with Shelter Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Meir Dizengoff Residence with Shelter on bustling Dizengoff Street, you immediately get that authentic Tel Aviv vibe — this isn’t some sterile hotel chain, but rather a place that feels genuinely connected to the city’s pulse. The building has that classic Israeli architectural style, and honestly, the fact that it includes a shelter (pretty standard for Israeli accommodations) actually made me feel more secure during my stay. It’s a three-star property, but don’t let that fool you — sometimes the best experiences come from places that focus on location and character over fancy lobbies.
Location That Actually Matters
You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally in the heart of everything that makes Tel Aviv special. I mean, step outside and you’re on Dizengoff Street — one of the city’s most iconic boulevards where locals actually hang out, not just tourists. The famous Dizengoff Square is practically at your doorstep, and you can walk to the beach in about ten minutes. I found myself grabbing morning coffee from the street-level cafés and feeling like I was living the real Tel Aviv experience, not just visiting it.
The Room Experience
The room itself was surprisingly spacious for a city center location — I actually had enough space to spread out my stuff without feeling cramped. The design is clean and functional, with that slightly minimalist Israeli aesthetic that I’ve come to appreciate. What really impressed me was how quiet it stayed despite being on such a busy street; the windows do a decent job of keeping the city noise to a manageable level. The air conditioning worked perfectly (crucial for Tel Aviv summers), and the Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay.
Neighborhood Insights
Here’s something you won’t read in most hotel descriptions — this location puts you right in the middle of Tel Aviv’s cultural scene. There’s this amazing falafel place two blocks down that locals queue up for, and the weekend Dizengoff Square market happens practically outside your window. I loved being able to walk to Rothschild Boulevard for evening drinks, or head toward the port area when I wanted a change of scenery. The neighborhood has that perfect mix of residential feel and tourist accessibility — you’re staying where people actually live, not in some isolated hotel district.
Why Guests Love It
Look, couples especially seem to get what this place is about — there’s something romantic about staying in the real Tel Aviv rather than in some beachfront resort bubble. The 8.7 rating makes sense when you consider that you’re getting authentic city living at a reasonable price point. It’s not about premium amenities or room service; it’s about waking up in one of the Middle East’s most vibrant cities and stepping directly into the action. If you want to experience Tel Aviv like someone who actually lives here rather than just passing through, this residence delivers exactly that.
Apartments in Tel Aviv suit digital nomads with cowork terraces, espresso bars downstairs, and fiber-fast connectivity.

We went to TLV for a 2-day stay with my children (2 & 5 y.o). The place is in a convenient location, close to shops and buses. The apartment is nice and well-furnished. We were able also to cook as the kitchen has enough to cook meals.
