Numa Hotel Jaffa Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Numa Hotel Jaffa on Sheerit Israel Street, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Tel Aviv. This four-star property sits right in the heart of what locals consider the best part of the city — and honestly, after spending time here, I can see why couples rate the location so highly. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream for attention, but once you’re inside, you realize the thoughtful design choices that make this place work so well.
The Perfect Jaffa Location
You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re actually positioned where old Jaffa’s charm meets Tel Aviv’s energy, and that’s not something you find everywhere. The location score of 9.4 isn’t just a number — it reflects how walkable everything is from here. I mean, you can wander through the ancient port area in the morning, grab lunch at one of those incredible hummus joints nearby, and still be back for an afternoon rest without breaking a sweat. The neighborhood has this authentic feel that tourist-heavy areas often lose, which makes your stay feel more genuine.
The Room Experience
The room design strikes this nice balance between modern comfort and local character. What I appreciated most was how they’ve managed to create spaces that feel both spacious and cozy — not always easy in urban hotels. The attention to detail shows in small things like the lighting choices and how they’ve arranged the furniture to maximize the space. You’ll find everything you need without feeling cluttered, and the windows actually give you views worth looking at (something that’s become surprisingly rare in city hotels).
Breakfast and Practical Perks
The breakfast setup here is refreshingly straightforward — a solid buffet with vegetarian options that go beyond the usual sad salad bar. They clearly understand that travelers want variety without overwhelming choices at 8 AM. What really sets this place apart practically is the private parking situation. If you’re planning to explore beyond Tel Aviv — maybe day trips to Jerusalem or up the coast — having guaranteed parking at your hotel is honestly a game-changer in this city where street parking can be a nightmare.
Why Guests Love It
There’s something about Numa Hotel Jaffa that just works, and I think it comes down to location and execution. The 9.3 rating reflects what you experience daily — a hotel that delivers on its promises without trying to be something it’s not. Couples especially seem to connect with the intimate scale and the way the location lets you experience Tel Aviv like locals rather than tourists. It’s not the flashiest option in the city, but it’s the kind of place where you settle in quickly and start planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.

A neat, tidy, comfortable and welcoming hotel in a very convenient location. Great for people who want to visit Jaffa by foot, and very close to public transportation (located right above the tram route). Plenty of shops, supermarkets and food places nearby. Staff was very nice and accommodating, breakfast was lovely, with special attention for each of the guests. All needs were met and the stay was very enjoyable. Excellent job!

One of the best experiences I had. A very comfortable room, attention to all small details that make your life easy.
I was granted a generous gift at the reception, which added to my overall experience.
Location is perfect, a few steps from the light rail station "Salame/Shlomo". A very good sound protection of the room.
