Shalom Hotel & Relax – an Atlas Boutique Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Shalom Hotel & Relax – an Atlas Boutique Hotel, you immediately get that “this is exactly what I was hoping for” feeling. It’s one of those places that manages to feel both polished and welcoming without trying too hard — honestly, that’s harder to pull off than you’d think. The lobby has this relaxed Tel Aviv energy that makes you want to drop your bags and start exploring, but also makes you excited to come back later.
Prime Hayarkon Street Location
Here’s the thing about staying on Hayarkon Street — you’re literally steps from the beach, but you’re also right in the thick of Tel Aviv‘s best neighborhood for wandering around. This four-star spot sits at number 216, which puts you close enough to hear the Mediterranean but far enough from the main beach crowds that you can actually sleep at night. I mean, couples absolutely love this location (they rate it 9.5, which honestly makes sense), and you’ll see why the moment you step outside. The promenade is right there, plus you’ve got cafes, bars, and that whole Tel Aviv scene within a five-minute walk.
The Room Experience
You know what really surprised me? The beds here are genuinely fantastic — like, the kind where you actually look forward to going to sleep. The hotel gets consistently high marks for comfort, and after spending a few nights there, I totally get it. The room design strikes this nice balance between modern and cozy, with enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re rattling around in a big empty box. The windows let in plenty of light during the day, and the whole setup just works.
Morning Fuel
Breakfast here is actually worth waking up for, which — let’s be honest — isn’t always the case at hotels. They do this buffet setup with Italian options, plus solid vegetarian and vegan choices that don’t feel like afterthoughts. It’s the kind of spread where you can grab something quick if you’re rushing out to explore, or settle in with a proper meal if you’re taking your time. The variety means you won’t get bored if you’re staying for several days, and the quality is consistently good.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how everything just clicks together — the location score of 9.4 isn’t just a number, it’s because you can walk to the beach, stroll through Neve Tzedek, or head into the city center without any hassle. The Atlas Boutique brand knows what they’re doing, and this property feels like they’ve figured out that sweet spot between being sophisticated and being a place where you can actually relax. You’re not paying for unnecessary bells and whistles, but you’re getting the stuff that actually matters: great sleep, good food, and a spot that puts you right where you want to be in Tel Aviv.

We had stayed here before and chose to come back, which says something in itself. The staff are terrific, every one of them, and the breakfast and happy hour spreads are excellent. The location, too, is great.

The location is very good (on the beach), the room was clean, staff was very welcoming, breakfast was high class.
Masha from Israel (9/10)
The location is great, in the old north area and really close to the beach. The room was nice and clean, with a spacious shower and free drinks (pepsi, 7up, soda and water). We didn't eat breakfast since we are vegan and we doubted there would be suitable options for us (for the costly price of 100 shekels per person).
The staff were hospitable, when we went to the beach they provided us with a beach bag and towels. The roof of the hotel has a good vibe, we sat there in the evening and enjoyed the pleasant breeze.Molly from Australia (10/10)
Excellent breakfast. Great choices. Even individual special orders. All staff very friendly and helpful.
