First Impressions
The Vintage Duplex Apartment by the Beach / Flea Market District sits right on El’azar ben Azarya Street, and honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better spot in Tel Aviv. This three-star place has that lived-in charm that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel. The ground floor location means no lugging suitcases up flights of stairs — something I actually appreciated more than I expected.
The Neighborhood Magic
What really gets me about this location is how it puts you right in the thick of things without the tourist trap feel. The Flea Market district is literally at your doorstep, and I mean that — you can hear the morning vendors setting up if you’re an early riser. Walk five minutes in any direction and you’ll hit either the beach or some of the city’s best hole-in-the-wall eateries. The couples who stay here seem to get it — there’s something romantic about wandering through the narrow streets at sunset, then grabbing dinner at one of those tiny places where the menu’s written in Hebrew on a chalkboard.
The Space Itself
The apartment feels authentically vintage without being run-down, if that makes sense. You’ve got character here — think original tiles, high ceilings, and windows that actually open wide enough to let in that Mediterranean breeze. The duplex layout gives you more space than you’d expect, and the kitchen is properly equipped, not just some mini-fridge situation. I spent a morning making coffee and planning the day, and it felt natural, not cramped. The room upstairs has this cozy, tucked-away feeling that makes it easy to sleep even with the city humming outside.
Beach Life and Local Rhythms
Being this close to the beach changes everything about your Tel Aviv experience. You can actually walk to the water in flip-flops — no need for elaborate beach day planning. The morning light hits the apartment just right, and you know what? Sometimes I’d just sit with my coffee and watch the neighborhood wake up. The local restaurant scene around here is incredible too. There’s this place two blocks over where they make shakshuka that’ll ruin you for anywhere else, and the owner remembers your order after two visits.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to wow you with marble bathrooms or a concierge desk, but that’s not the point. What you get is an authentic slice of Tel Aviv life in one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods. The location score of 8.8 makes perfect sense when you’re living it — everything feels walkable and accessible without being touristy. Couples especially seem to connect with the intimate vibe here, and I get it. There’s something about having your own little corner of the city that makes the whole experience feel more personal. Plus, parking in this area can be tricky, but the apartment handles that better than most places around here.
Best hotels in Tel Aviv combine sea-view pools, chef-led sabich tastings, and spa decks overlooking glowing skyscrapers.

What Our Guests Say
Home away from home at what feels like my cousins house. Cafes and markets abound within 2 blocks. Eliran invites you for coffee at 930am. daily across the street. There is a sweet ice cream freezer full of Ben and Jerry's not 10 meters from the door. Old Town is a 10-minute walk as is the promenade. The Saturday market is a 3 minute walk. The people are friendly, unlike some other areas. Everything is in walking distance. Add to this the charm of one of the older buildings in the neighborhood and the remodeling everywhere, and I am sure in 3 years this won't be cheap. I love the layout and home like touches throughout the apartment. Eliran took care of meeting me on arrival to unload bags and park in a garage 2 blocks away. Included. I would strongly recommend this stay. Just bring ear plugs just in case. Some nights, they are not necessary, and I suspect this is a one-off event. Also, Eliran has an Xbox there and a water filter machine dispensar, a fridge, fresh towels, good wifi, a comfortable bed, and Netflix, among other interests. Coffee awaits both in the apartment and across the street with Eliran and his team. The Prominade has volleyball and restaraunts, sand, and sun.
Amazing place. Great stay. I loved the location and the interior decorations. The host was more than generous and easy to work with.
